We picked up the hire car and navigated our way out of Malaga on the right side of the road and headed out into the country. We are staying at the moment in different ‘White Villages’ in the mountains. So far we have stayed in; Ronda a breathtaking village set above a massive gorge with a bridge across connecting the old city and the new. Sentinel De Las Borges, a city of cave house where people have live since prehistoric times. The houses are completely inside the caves with limestone facades and geraniums and oleanders. Olvera next where we climbed to the top of the old fortress with stunning views, lots of Olive plantations. Finally we are in Zahara. It’s a lot quieter where the cobbled streets are steep and narrow and the few shops are sometimes open. You can always fine a bar or coffee though!
